- In 1994, He left that life behind and went on to concentrate on achieving New York State Attorney General

Backlash== This guy is doing illegal things in office. Someone like this should not be controlling what NY does. Some of the money that he used for the prostitution was taxpayers dollars and this guy needs to be kicked out of office.

Davis, a competing madam who was involved in the scandal, served four months of jail time on Rikers Island as a result of the scandal, and later announced a run for Spitzer's old seat in the office. Davis finished in last place among those on the ballot.
